As one of the children of a family of nine, I know that cooking is a lot to work almost full time. Once a month for cooking has been a lifesaver for our family. Pretty self explanatory. When I read the reviews I was nervous about the old rusted out parts and people needing a drill to remove them. I live in a condo and have limited tools.
What I did was the day I ordered I sprayed the old part on the bottom with some liquid wrench.
When the parts arrived I promptly twisted off the thumb screw on the bottom just as I thought I might.
What I did was just use a little elbow grease to remove the handle which holds the bottom assembly on. I attached a vice grip to the handle and just worked it back and forth twisting it until it came out. Done deal. I replaced the part and was good to go!!
